Hola Familia!

Que Paso! :)....ya that's right, that was espanol. I have learned a thing or two since I have been here! haha I can't believe I have been here for a month! Four weeks is a long time! I still feel like a newby! We are offically the eldest district in our zone...scary!!! All the districts before us left last week or yesterday. It's kind of sad! All of our really good friends are gone. I am realizing that missions are full of goodbyes! But hey we are all together in the work right...yes I have officially started to say cheesy things like that on a daily basis. It's kind of great.

Anyway, this last week has been great! The broadcast was awesome! Too bad I didn't get on camera! At the end of Hark All Ye Nations, they showed one row of girls really close up...that was the row right behind us... :l....Grosero!...haha missed it by that much! But I am in one of the pictures on lds.org. It's from pretty far away but you can tell it's me! haha I was on the third row up (that's right I was way close to the apostles!) on the left side. Hermana Wilson was featured for a long time though during Elder Perry's talk so you can look on line to see her too. Thanks for writing her a dear Elder mom! She loved it! Anyway, the whole broadcast was awesome. I really like how it encouraged members to get involved in missionary work. They tell us here that lessons are sooo much more effective if you have a member with you! Most missions don't even let you report lessons without a member being there. That's how important it is! When I get home I'm going to be a better member missionary! And you guys should all work on that too! Find people for the missionaries to teach! Go on splits with them. Missionary work can only move forward if the members and missionaries are on the same page! :) Using the internet will be cool! As well as giving tours of church buildings! My teacher that was telling us that the announcement was going to be huge said that they didn't announce what he thought they were going to announce. So maybe another big change is in the works..we'll see I guess!

I MET MY MISSION PRESIDENT! The huge "new mission president seminar" has been going on all this past week. So all of us that have a new mission pres. (which is eveyone in my district) got to meet our mission presidents and their wives. It was awesome! President Brown is awesome! We just visited with him and we got to know each other. It was just me, Hermana Vargha, Hermana Wilson, and Elder McConeghey. We were the only 4 in this MTC going to Fort Collins. (There are english speakers going to Fort Collins coming in today that will fly out with us, as well as some more spanish speakers in the Mexico MTC) But our group flying out in two weeks is the first group opening the mission! Awesome right?..AND...President Brown said that my call was the first one they recieved....therefore I am the first missionary EVER in the Fort Collins Colorado mission. I know...I know....I'm pretty cool. haha Anyway, President Brown is really out going and really passionate about missionary work! He is going to be an amazing mission president! Sister Brown was more shy but also very cool. After meeting with them, the four of us were so pumped and ready to serve! I want to get out to Colorado already! haha but maybe I should learn a little more spanish first :) Oh ya thats another thing...Pres. Brown mentioned something like...We don't have alot of spanish areas so were going to try our best to get you guys speaking the Spanish language...I dont really know what to think about that. I hope there are enough people to teach so we can get the language down. But we'll see. I might be teaching in English as well.

Last night's devotional was AMAZING! It was by Janice Kapp Perry. She wrote tons of music for the church including all the good primary songs! I remember hearing her name on soft sunday sounds a lot. It was kind of a night of music. She would talk for a little while, then we would sing one of her songs, then she would talk a little more and she would sing a song. Anyway, it was amazing. It's awesome how music can drive the spirit into your heart. At one point in the program we sang a medley of her primary songs including Love Is Spoken Here, A Childs Prayer, I Love To See The Temple, and lots more. I pretty much was an emotional wreck....I mean more of an emotional wreck than I usually am. hahah Oh my word the spirit was so strong, it was so thick in the air. Like if the spirit was a substance it would be peanut butter. The whole Marriott center filled with spiritual peanut butter!...That sounds weird but that is the best way I can explain it. Those songs were my childhood and it reminded me of how lucky I am to have been raised in this gospel and to have such an incredibly strong family. You guys will never know how grateful I am to have you in my life. Mom and Dad...gracias. All I've gotta say is...thank you for everything!

Our investigators are progressing nicely! We got a soft commitment for baptism by Judith (Hoo-deet - in Spanish...spanish pronunciation is awesome!) And we had an AWESOME lesson with Ronaldo about the Atonement! I love when you get out of a lesson and you're like...YA!! Nailed it! That doesn't happen often because we are pretty hard on ourselves but every once in a while we have a lessons where the spirit is completely the teacher and we just speak. It's so cool! And I LOVE teaching about the Atonement. I have learned so much about how many different ways I can use the atonement since I have been here. I have never relied on the Savior so much! It is amazing.

So on a lighter note, I got nailed in the face with a volley ball the other day....This place has a way of bringing out the most embarrassing side of me. We were playing volley ball in the gym in the morning and I was right in front of the kid serving. I turn around to see him serve and at that very moment he launches the ball into my face....thank you elder...thank you so much...THAT IS what I wanted for breakfast...a big face full of volley ball. It was great. Oh and right before that some kid made me feel like the devil for listening to Taylor Swift...I was wearing the concert Tee you guys sent me and he was like..."You like Taylor Swift"...and I was like..."YA I flippin love her! I missed her concert so my fam sent me this shirt"...so he's like...."Oh I am so disappointed in her, her music is so dirty now."...so I'm like..."WHAT Taylor Swift music is not dirty!!!"...and he says...."You know that song 'trouble'"...."Ya I love that song"...."Its so dirty, have you seen the music video it's so bad, she is such a bad influence now." ...me - "okaaay ....I'm going to go play volley ball now" hahaha some of the people here....Also my roommate slash district mate Hermana Vargha was standing on sister Wilson's bed showing me this hair that was growing out of the middle of her forehead. (yes it was long, and yes I am top bunking it) anyway after showing me the freakish middle of forehead hair she falls off Hermana Wilson's bed, trips over my suit case, and lands on the chips you guys sent me....AND cuts her hand on the corner of a chip....and it bled!  It was probably the best 30 seconds of my entire MTC experience! hahah I love her a lot!
Hey!!! GUESS WHAT!? I get to call you guys when I'm at the airport!!! Apparently this is common knowledge but I didn't know until a few days ago! haha So I'll talk to you guys in two weeks!! Cant wait! Weird that Davis wont be there! HE LEAVES SO SOON! I'm so excited for you to get out in the field Davis! You're going to love it! And you are endowed now! You are too little to be endowed! This is too weird!....they all grow up too fast.

Anyway my time is almost up so I gotta go but I hope everything is still going well! I hear recitals were awesome! And things for Davis' farewell are coming together. You guys are amazing! Keep sending mail. I LOVE hearing from you guys! LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
Love, Hermana England
PS. Thank you sooo much for the cookies and CTR rings! We all loved them! My district loves you mom! haha
PPS. Davis, memorize Our Purpose, the baptismal invitation, and the first vision in spanish before you leave! Trust me! You have to memorize them when you get in the MTC. (they are all really short...except the first vision...which is still kind of short) it's not that hard and if you do it now you can use that time you would have spent memorizing studying! Having them memorized helps with spanish and having the spirit! Puede hacerlo!  LOVE YOU!

Half Way Through MTC Experience!

MI FAMILIA!

First I would like to say...HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNA!!!!!!!! Hope your day is going great!!!! I sent you a birthday card a few days ago so I hope it got to you by today but I just want to say agian that I LOVE YOU! I miss you alot! I look up to you so much and you are one of my biggest examples! I hope this is your best Birthday EVER!

Anyway, IM HALF WAY THROUGH MY MTC EXPERIENCE!!! That is soo weird to say because it feels like I just got here!!!! Seriously it's scary! Sometimes days go by super slow but weeks go by so fast! It makes me nervous because I feel like I don't know enough spanish to be half way through but the Lord is on my side so I will learn what I need to learn!

THANK YOU SOOO much for all the letters/notes you guys sent me with that envelope! I LOVED them! It was so good to hear from everyone! And dad thanks for sending that talk by Lawrence E. Corbridge. It is AMAZING! I have loved reading it and going through all the scriptures he used. It has made my personal study time very effective, and his words and the scriptures he gives has been an answer to prayer! All my roomies want a copy of it! :) AND thank you sooo much for the Fiesta package for making it half way! I got it today! On the exact half way point! hahaha I loved it! Everyone in my zone loved the hats and maracas! I took some pics! Oh the head massager has been well enjoyed in my district. Hermana Holloway in my district got one from her mom too:) haha And also thankyou for all the Dear Elders! They always make my day! Loved the pictures you sent me on the memory card! It was good to see what you all are doing! When looking at the T-swift pics I was just green with jealous rage! But I'm glad you guys had fun! And I'm glad Haley could take my ticket! So fun!

I heard from several of you that Mags gave an awesome talk on prayer! Way to go Mags! I wish I was there to hear it but I heard from everyone that you did sooo good! And Davis that is your farewell talk topic right? Lucky! You will do such a great job! I wish sooo bad I could be there for your farewell and when you leave...but I'll be there in spirit.:)

So this morning we went to the temple as usual but this time we did initiatories. I had such an amazing experience! It was my first time doing initiatories other than my own so it was alot of fun. I felt stronger that ever the spirit flowing from God, to the temple worker, through me, and directly to the people I was doing work for. It was an amazing experience. I love the temple! We are soo blessed to have so many so close to us!

So the devotional last night was by Robert C. Gay of the 70. I think he spoke in general conference recently because I recognized his name. Anyway he gave an incredible talk! Toward the end of his remarks he talked about how we were all prepared for this work. That none of our calls were by accident. That God needs you where ever you are going. It was pretty powerful! We had a devotional review/testimony meeting in our district after and I bore my testimony of that truth. I knew that was true before I came here. But experiences I have had while I have been here have confirmed that to me. I know that Heavenly Father needs me in Colorado. I know that he needs me to learn Spanish. And even though sometimes I feel like I am not a good enough teacher or that I am terrible at learning Spanish, I know that I can because the Lord wants me too. "In his strength I can do all things". That knowledge has been a blessing. And it has helped me to not only do what the Lord wants me to do but to WANT to do what the Lord wants me to do. (Like it says in the talk about the Fourth Missionaries)...I don't know if that made any sense..Im not good at writing out what I feel or things that have happened here but I hope you somewhat understand. haha:)

Oh, I see Andrew Kenney here all the time! I didn't know him very well before I left but he seems like a pretty solid kid! He will be a great missionary! I also see Rylee Guzy here alot. I see Jill and Rach all the time too. I also saw like three friends that work here for the first time this past week so it's been a party:) haha AND I SAW KENZ AGAIN! hahaha she was driving by when we were walking over to the Marriott Center for the devotional and I ran up to her car and gave her a hug! hahaha It was great! I was so happy! And I saw Sam again! Totally forgot to get a picture! Maybe he will be directing traffic again next week:)

I think mom was asking about my schedule...well it's basically the same thing everyday in a slightly different order. haha I have gym time either early morning or late night...which is super lucky because some people have it in the middle of the day. Everyday we have two class times from 9-12 then again from 2:25-5:25. During class we will either learn spanish (grammar, practicing together ect.) Teach our investigators(we have 4 at the moment) or learn how to teach (mostly from preach my gospel and other stuff the teachers have for us). Then the rest of the day is filled with Personal study time, Language study time, and daily planning. Oh and on Tuesdays we do the TRC where you teach real life people...almost pee my pants....skirt....everytime. But it always turns out to be a good experience. Then Pday we have temple time, personal study time, email time, and Language study. Sundays are basically the same but remove class time and insert sacrament meeting and district meeting, relief society, and devotionals at night. Oh and Tuesday nights we have devotionals. hahah And that was the most complicated way I could have told you my schedule but there ya go:) haha

Anyway I must remind you all to watch the world wide broad cast this sunday! It's going to be AWESOME! Its a pretty big deal here! With the huge choir and everything. And like I mentioned earlier we basically do the same thing EVERYDAY and because of the broadcast our Sunday is going to be CRAZY! In a good way! We have choir practice and we get to eat breakfast and lunch out side! And have dinner in the gym!...YES, these little things have become the most exciting things in my life hahaha. But seriously it's going to be awesome! Pres. Monson will be there. Im pretty sure the 1st presidency and a lot of the 12 will be there. AND the rumer here is that they will be making a HUGE anouncement about missionary work!! One of our teachers says he knows what it is and it's cool but he wont tell us...lame. But anyway, Watch for me in the Choir! I will be in the soprano section wearing my red short sleeve shirt and navy skirt. (they had very specific instructions to wear only solids and no necklaces...and a million other rules that took up a whole page)...so I will be wearing red! Like tomato red. And I will be in the soprano section! We are singing Called To Serve, and Hark All Ye Nations! :):) so excited! Watch for me!

Ok well my time is up but I love you all A LOT! I miss you all! Keep me updated! Davis, have an incredible time going through the temple! It is incredible and you will love it!! LOVE YOU!

Love, Hermana England

Ps. I forgot to tell you that my first pday when sending my first email, we thought we only had a half hour of computer time (because there is a half hour timer on our computers that starts when you log into your email) and we though it logged you out when the time was up weather you had sent your email or not...hence the short email and the typos and the scrambled ending. I almost passed out because I wrote the last part of the email in like 15 seconds and sent it with 1 second left on the timer. I was literally sweating....Alas that is not the rule and it does not log you out.... :l .....oh well:) LOVE YOU!!!

PPS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN KENNA! I LOOOOOOOOOOVVEEEEE YOU!!!

Second week in MTC

Hola Fam!

Two weeks down in the MTC! woohoo! haha It's scary to think I'm a third of the way through my MTC experience! Ahhh I dont know enough spanish yet!! hahah just kidding I'm doing fine:) This week was SO much better than last week! For so many random reasons! One of them being all your letters, dear elders, and packages! I LOVE GETTING MAIL! Seriously every night we wait for our district leader to bring us our mail and we are like kids on christmas morning! haha but really thank you so much! Those things keep me going! So like you guys may have read in Rachel's email...the MTC is putting together a HUGE choir for this big mission conference thing on the 23rd this month. It's like a big meeting for mission presidents, mission leaders, ward missionaries...and pretty much any one involved in missionary work at all..AND whoever wants to watch it because it is being broadcast on TV. SO WATCH IT! We don't know for sure but we hear Pres. Monson is going to be there amung other general athorities so it will be AWESOME! Watch for me in the choir! There is like 1600 missionaries along with a bunch of members so its pretty big! Probably like 2000 person choir..but hey...still watch for me :) I'm in the soprano section(far left)....(probably should be an alto but the sopranos get the melody WHAT WHAT!!) Anyway, we had our first devotional at the Marriott Center yesterday because we have officially out grown the gym and the overflow at the MTC! It's crazy! There are sooo many of us! We filled about half the Marriott center! and a HUGE flood of missionaries will be coming in soon because of high school graduation so it's gonna be craZAY up in here! Oh, and I think you guys heard but I saw SAM! haha he was directing traffic while a million missionaries were blocking up university avenue! haha It was fun to see him! Oh and I saw Kenz last week on P-day. She drove by as we were walking back from the temple. I just here this....MACY I LOVE YOU!!!!!....hahaha I look over and see Kenz driving by! I was freaking out haha my comp and district girls were like...whoa calm down...haha. It was great! Like I said I see Rach all the time. I see Jill alot too! I got a picture of all three of us but I cant send my memory card home until you send back the one I sent you. So send that please:) Thanks. OH and can you make a folder in I photo for all my mission pics? I have some random ones that you might not want to put on the blog but I still want them when I get home! THANKS! I finally saw my friend Cam that teaches portugese here. I basically see someone I know almost everyday so that makes things fun!

So last sunday we had our last devotional at the MTC (now they are all at the marriott center) and my comp and I forgot something in our room, so we run to our room, and book it back to the gym so we can hopefully get some good seats...We are almost to the gym running up the stairs to the door and boom...I trip on the stairs...fall flat on my face...stub both my big toes...scriptures go flying.....people are trampling me trying to get the gym. HAHA lets just say it wasnt my finest moment. But hey we got good seats so all is well. The devotionals here are amazing! Tuesday nights and sunday nights are the best because of them! Last night we had Mervin Arnold of the 70 speak to us and it was AMAZING! His testimony of the Atonement is SO powerful! I hope I can bear testimony like that on my mission.
So here is another awesome thing....I have been praying lately that I would have more patience. Patience with learning the language, patience with my self and patience with the Lords timing. I had also been praying to feel more Joy and comfort in the journey here at the MTC, even when I feel overwhelemed. I said...Heavenly Father, I am going to work so hard during language study time and TRY my best here, and if I do that, I know you will help me. So I was personal studying it up the other day in Mosiah 24 and basically recieved a perfectly clear answer from heavenly father. In verses 13-15! read that chapter it's amazing! scriptures are amazing! It's when Alma and his people are being persecuted by Amulon and Lord helps them. It says in there.."I know of the covenent which ye have made unto me....I will ease your burrdens...that you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage." So ya it was pretty amazing! I felt the power of prayer and the power of scrupture study so strongly! Heavenly Father heard me and he answered. I have had prayers answered before but never this clearly. It's amazing. The Lord knows us so well! Not only were those scriptures an answer to prayer but the things I have been feeling and experiencing have been answers as well. Our lessons with our invesigators (yes plural, we are teaching a few now) have been getting better and better each time. Even though my spanish is still pretty terrible I know enough to teach and  bear testimony, and in the lessons, the Lord takes over. He brings things to my rememberance and we feel his spirit.

Anyway, one of the elders in our district, Elder Heaton, was sent home:( He has a seizure disorder and had a seizure the other morning. He is ok and they were in the medical center when it happened but they sent him home because I guess you have to be seizure free for 6 months to be on a mission. So we miss him but we are glad he is ok. Dad, I told Elder McConehey (our district leader) you liked his brillow pad hair before he got it cut, and he said...thanks Hermana England's dad! haha He is a funny one! It was his birthday the other day so we tried to play him happy birthday with the recorders you guys sent. It didnt go so well. haha and our Branch president told us to put them away but it was fun haha. THANK YOU so much for that package by the way! I LOVED IT! getting packages is THE BEST!!! My district really appreciated the nutella and the head messager. hahah
So this week we taught in the TRC for the first time this last week. Which is this terrible place were real life people are and we have to teach real life lessons. It's scary! haha But it actually went well. All the people that we teach there are already members so that made it less intimidating. And the people we taught were really nice. But I like to stick with fake investigators for now! hahah

Every P-day we get to go to the temple and I LOVE it! Today I seriously struggled to stay awake haha but I still felt the spirit. It's so nice to be calm for a few hours after a crazy week of MTC schedule! I love the temple!...AND we eat breakfast at the temple cafe! YUM! SOOOO much better than MTC food! Which is pretty terrible...I can see why all the teenage boys like it because you can eat as much as you want and there is cereal and chocolate milk out at each meal...but it is no bueno! haha its not terrible terrible but lets just say I never finish my meals...and most the time when there is pasta with sause for dinner, the next days lunch is pasta with sause but they call it something different. haha I could go for some rio!! But there are a few good options like the wraps and a random dish that dosnt look like left overs haha.

My zone is so much fun! Every Friday and Saturday we have gym time at night so on Friday we play beach volley ball together and Saturday we play cature the tie (capture the flag) It's so much fun! Good stress relief too. Although in capture the tie Hermanas can only tag Hermanas and Elders can only tag Elders....because that would be inapproriate touching...haha...but I actually like it because I can out run some of the hermanas!...which is rare for me hahah.

One of my teacher is named Hermana Nishiguchi...she is the cutest 4'11'' asian I have ever seen! haha and she helps me alot!!! I love her! And my other teacher is named Hermano Gurts. He is a nice guy! His teaching methods are really effective for me!
In my room we have Me my comp, and the other two girls in our district. My besties :)...we had two other girls but they were english speaking so they left and we have yet to get new roomies. Im also top bunkin it whick is awesome!

Oh will you send me some more sleeping pills? I didn't use them the whole first week...i have no idea why....then i started using them and i sleep alot better! But I dont have alot. THANK YOU! and also send me another memory card so I can send you this one.
Dad, I wrote you a letter last week on Pday but it didn't sound like you got it when I read your dear elder. I hope you got it. ALSO.....HAPPY FATHERS DAY ON SUNDAY!!! I wrote you a fathers day note and I'm sending it but just in case it doesn't get there before Sunday I want you to know how much I love you! You are the best dad in the world! I am forever gratefull for your powerful influence in my life! You are the best person I know! I LOVE YOU!
Oh I live on MTC campus not in Y view. A few of you asked me that. And mom I sent a post card with a scripture for my plaque, but I chose 1nephi 3:7...i know its totally an unorigonal, over read scripture but i LOVE it! It's my fav!

So sorry this email has been so scatter brained! I had so many things to tell you guys and they all came out so randomly haha but I LOVE you all and I miss you like crazy! Keep sending letters and dear elders! Soph and Davis I haven't heard from you!!..and Dalt you have to write me sometimes too...dont think your off the hook just cuz your the bro in law! haha
Oh and Davis and Mom have fun in Cali on your senior trip! I want to hear all about it!
LOVE YOU GUYS!  ENGLAND RULE!
Love, Hermana England

Pics From Provo!

Temple walk on Sunday with mi companera!

I am becoming really good friends with the girls...(sisters...we get in trouble for calling people girls, guys, boys, dudes etc.) haha, anyway - with the "sisters" in my district. It's me and my companion and one other companionship - the four of us are close!

In spanish class whenever we feel frustrated we just yell
"yo quiero mi mama" which means "I want my mom!" haha - It's kind of a joke but I'm never kidding! I really wish I had you here!

Thanks for the T-Swift shirt! I LOVE IT!

I saw Jill!!!

I found the picture of Riley...It totally made my day! One elder didn't believe me when I said that it was my cousin.
TI VOGLIO BENE

My Tag!!!

The Elders in our district are cool. They are good elders...they are all just graduated high school, and all of us girls are older... 3 of us are 20 and Sister Wilson is 22.  So they are our babies!  It's weird they are Davis' age!  I'm excited for Davis to get out on the mission!

My district and Elder McConigue my district leader and
me...they made him get a haircut :)

First Official Email Home!

Hola Family!

It's my first email home!!!! YAY! I hope everything is going well at home! I miss you guys so much already but I haven't been too home sick so im doing good! Okay, so my first day here was super crazy!!!! They rushed us here and there to get books and everything, then finally we arrived at our class room. My teacher only speaks to us in spanish so that is super overwhelming...but its good because I am already staring to understand ALOT! Thanks everyone who wrote notes to me for my first night! I loved them! I appreciated the agry puppy especially Dalt:)...Anyway my first day was good!

My third fourth and fifth day here were extremely difficult. I was pretty sick for some reason. It must have just been the stress and new environment. I felt nausious most of the time, and I coudnt eat food because every time a ate something I felt like i was going to vomit...(sorry gross..I know) So I felt sick and weak and shakey later because I didnt eat anything...anyway it was a vicious cycle. My district leader gave me a blessing on Friday so on Saturday I began to feel much better. And now I feel like I am back to my normal self again! YAY! I am so grateful for the priesthood! It has blessed my life in so many ways! I also felt your prayers and the Blessing Dad gave me as I was trying to get through my sicky stage.

The MTC is much better now! I am really ejoying now! :) My companion is Hermana Willson and she is great! We get along really well! She is from North Carloina and has a boy friend she left at home so it's kind of funny hearing her stories about him. The language is difficult but it is AMAZING how much I have learned in only a week. The gift of tongues is so real. It works in a diffterent way than I ever expected it would but it is incredible! We have an investigator named Ronaldo (it's a teacher acting as an investigator but man it feels real) We taught him his first lesson the Friday I got here... and every day since (besides Sunday.) It's amazing we can get through a lesson with only one week worth of spanish! Sister Wilson's family is Cuban and speak spanish so she knows a little more than I do but the spirit completely takes over in lessons. A couple days ago our lesson didn't go so well. We couldn't understand all of what he was saying, he was confused about our answers and he kept pulling out his phone to text. It was rough. As a compnionship we talked it over and realized we were only relying on ourselves and the little spanish we know, when we should have been relying on the spirit. The next day we planned our lessions with the spirit in mind, relying completely on The Savior to help us to know what to say (and how to say it in spanish:) haha and the lesson was completelly different. We felt the spirit, we answered his questions with more confidence and he accepted our invitations! It's incredible what we can do when we turn it over to the Lord!
We had a devotional on Sunday by a man who did this monologue as if he was Willard Richards, and told the Joseph Smith story. It was so cool because I had been to a lot of the places he was talking about! That church history trip was amazing and I'm so glad we did it!

Anyway thanks for all the Dear Elders everyone! I love getting them! and, yes - shorter emails are good so I can spend the little time I have on line emailing you! Oh and the unit number is the mail box number so ya keep doing what your doing!
That is so sad Bo cried for so long after you guys dropped me off! haha Poor guy, tell him I love him! Bummer about the flood! What a pain! Hopefully the smell goes away! Im so jealous you guys went to the T-Swift concert! I hope you had fun!!!! I got your package and I love the shirt! THANK YOU for the package! It totally made my day! So do dear elders... everyone send lots of those!

Anyway are you guys getting excited for school to be out? Bo,Ii heard you had an awesome soccer game! :) I want to hear about them all! Soph how are the boys:):):) and young womens? Mags how's drill...any dates yet? :) Davis!!! Im so excited for you to be a missionary!!! It's hard but it is amazing! You will love it! Learn as much spanish as you can before you come in!! Trust me! haha Kenna are you excited to be off track?? party!! :) Dalt how's school and internship stuff coming along?
Oh I'm sending home a blow dryer...I accidentally packed two hahahaha sorry!

The MTC is kinda weird... awesome but weird! This girl in our dorm sings soooo loud in the shower and some people harmonize with her...I'm like - hey we are way too close and naked to be harmonizing! hahahaha

Anyway sorry my time is already up! AHH I wish I had more time on the computers! But I LOVE you guys soooo much!

Two Quick Notes From The First Day In The MTC

Hello family

Our Branch President met with us tonight and gave us this paper to send home a quick letter.

Oh my goodness, missionary work is hard.  The language is difficult to learn.  I feel myself getting discouraged a lot but I try to remember that my Savior has been through the same thing.  He knows how I feel.  I am so grateful for that! I am trying to rely whole heartedly on that truth.

I hope everything at home is going well.  I am so excited to hear from you guys.  I love you so much!

Hey Family!

So I can't believe it was this morning you guys dropped me off.  That seems like a few days ago.  So my P-day is on Wednesday so we thought we would have to wait until next week to write but hey said we could write a quick letter tonight - Sorry it will be a short one. I have not time!

Well in my first letter I just wanted to tell you guys that I love you!  I would not have made it here if it wasn't for you.  I miss you guys already...but I am doing well. My first day went great! My spanish teacher only speaks to us in spanish...no english.  haha it's intimidating but cool too I guess.

My companion is Hermana Wilson and we get along great.  We have the same pajama pants :) We were destined to be companions.  haha

I have already seen like 3 people I know here including Kira Barker...no Rach yet :(

Well I love you!  I hope you are all doing well.  I will write a better letter next week!

p.s. I forgot to bring a picture of our family.  Will you send me one please :) Thanks Love you!

p.p.s.- First funny/cheesy thing...
The two sisters who already lived in our room are super duper happy all the time.  So after their companionship prayer tonight they both say "THE LORD LOVES YOU AND I LOVE YOU TOO!"...really loud...in extremely perky voices...in perfect unison.  Followed by a big long hug...I'm glad they have each other :)

MTC Drop Off Day

Wednesday May 28, 2013
I reported to the MTC in Provo!
We loaded the Sprinter Van and we were on our way!
(With a quick stop at Cafe Rio for one last salad!)
We stopped across the street for pictures and a chance
to say goodbye before we went to the MTC!

This was the failed attempt at getting a picture with Mom
It was NOT pretty...
The whole "drop off crew!"

The moment of truth - We made our way across the street to the MTC for our curb side - quick hugs and goodbye!

Goodbye! I'm off to a new adventure!

Farewell and Open House

I spoke in church on May 19, 2013
I am excited to be a full time missionary!
We had some friends and family over for brunch...

Just one more week
until I go to the MTC!
